Still, am convinced that 2006 is a good year.
Just because you're still in poly, don't assume that University is as simple as poly. Workload is twice that of poly.
Really detest last min arrangements, that's why I always try my very best to give at least 1 week advance notice. Gambling is not my cup of tea, be it small amount like 10, 20 cents or bigger amount like $2, $3...
People like you who still receive allowance from parents do not understand that to earn money takes up time and effort. It can be easy to some and difficult to others. So if you choose to gamble it away, so be it, don't misled me to go and join in the fun when tonnes of work is packed upon my shoulders. I want at least a 2nd class upper honours, not just a pass. At least I'm accepted by NUS base on my poly results.
Understanding friends like Ah Mei, Jh, Joey etc knows studies is a higher priority than gathering with friends. I only have this limited amount of time to study and score well whereas I got my whole other life to spend with friends.
Try earning your keep to pay for bills, pay for all 3 meals and everything except school fees. If you can't even do that at the age of 21. You're TOO IMATURE to be CALLED a M.A.N! I have been out there working since 15! you are so unlike jh, ah mei, these guys also work PT to earn extra pocket money jh family so rich also never ask from family. This is maturity... sighzzz... grow up please... the world doesn't evolves around you...
