Frustration
It is antagonizing that the closest people around you gives you the widest and weirdest stare of doubt.
Hey come'on, music is what I love. And you are the one who encouraged me to pursue this.
I wanted to stop studying and do something while I still can. A degree is nothing in the music industry unless you want to be an educator. Anyways, I met many who have a stupid paper but bloody hell can't teach, so what's the point?
The system is bad, and I choose not be in it.
There're rare and big opportunities open for me now that $ can never buy, so stop talking about not getting paid and doing work.
Give and take. Money can't buy everything.
At least I know that the experience I am going through now is beneficial for all my life. And this valuable experience is like a once in a life time chance.
Hell I don't want to work for someone and be ridden like a stupid donkey.
I believe in myself and the people who believe that we can make a difference.
Stop questioning my career path for I'm able to support myself very well. To pay you back in 5 years plus save enough perhaps for a short overseas education stint in the comings years.
If it is calculable that some musicians outside earns quite an amount much higher than a teacher with masters degree in MOE, I think the it is time to stop all those nags or negativity about a musician.
Compare a musician and artist, the musicians has more bargaining power than an artist.
Life's great @ Fabs hse, just pure peace and quiet with cute Tammy around. =)
