  National Day Speech

Spent like 1.5 hrs in front of the TV with Fabs listening to the National Day Speech.

My 1st in 23 years of life.

Listening to all the bullshit talks, all talk but no walk.

Especially the part on Education. I forsee that in years to come or even when the fourth university is built, there will still be no emphasis in the arts/music development in this island. Poly students who are good and be able to make it to university will still have no chance for the university if good, will take in the JC students AND open huge intakes to foreign students to make money.

Plus, education needs $, but not many revenues for poor pple like me to seek help from. I don't mind borrowing but zero interest please, for I can afford monthly installements but not a whole lump sum payment!

CPF and some stupid annual payout for old age. If I overlook the pros and think that the high interest is beneficial, I would at least want full control of my own money when I retire and not receive a monthly payout like a teenage kid.

What I like is the Punggol 21+. =)
